The Similan Islands and Surin National Marine Parks 

Location, Phang Nga in Thailand










Only 70 kms off the Andaman coast of west Phang Nga Province lies the small archipelago of the Similan Marine National Park. As world renowned for in listed of TOP 10 dive destinationof the world. Here is also the teh best snorkeling sites in Thailand.

This Islands are a 24 kilometre long chain of 9 islands and several rocks. The surrounding sea is regarded as one of the best areas in the world for diving and snorkelling

History of their name from the word ‘Yawi or Malay word’ – meaning ‘nine’ in the Yawi dialect spoken in southern Thailand and Malay states – The Similan Islands , which was established in 1982 and gained the status of Thailand’s 43rd national park.

Similan Park entrance fee is 500 THB for foreigners (and for children 300 THB). 

The Similan Park Fee usually stays the same throughout the year 2016, but we hope don’t be surprised if there are changes!. we will update to letyou know.


The Surin National Marine Parks 

Mu Koh Surin Marine National Park is one of tourist destionation must to visi because here is the best snorkeling site in Thailand so we wish you don't miss this amazing time.  

Surin Island is in Mu Koh Surin National Park , situate 60 km off the west coast of Phang Nga province in Andaman sea Thailand , and 100 km north of the Similans.

There are consit of 5 islands: Koh Surin Nuea, Koh Surin Tai, Koh Ri, Koh Khai, and Koh Klang. Here is goods for many adventure activities such as diving, snorkelling, hiking and game fishing.  

The main island of North Surin has several bays with complex of nature diversitys, the largest being from Ao Mae Yai on the southwest, which cystal water and sandy beach. On the southeast side is Ao Luek, which has varities of coral reefs and an abundance of marine life offer. Ao Mai Ngam is where the National Park's office Head Quarter located, just 2-kilometre walking nature trail you can find a a long beachgood 5to snorkelling and swimming. Ao Chak at the north of Surin Nuea is a beautiful bay of pristine coral reefs.

There are many interesting snorkeling spots around the Surin Islands. You can enjoy norkeling and deep into the warm waters holding you. Swim with turtles, beach relax on the paradise islands or discover underwater by snorkeling.

One hour and half by sped boat will bring you into the waters of Surin Islands National Park. Around18 kms east of the Surin Islands, we will take you to snorkeling and relaxing at the world famous underwater world renowed. 

The Similan and Surin National Marine Parks are only open to visitors between the months of 15-October to 15-May each year. In the low season the park is closed for nature recovery plan for preserv the islands.
